When Speaker Injured Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi dropped out of the race for Punjab Chief Minister in Punjab Assembly of Pakistan many questions have arisen about his political strategy & political future.
Apparently Injured Pervaiz Elahi has ignored all political parties & put all his political weight in scales of PTI.

Injured Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi : Now question arises as to whether this adventure of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has given a new direction to politics of Chaudhrys or has pushed them towards a dead end. Before discussing the political future of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi & PML Q it is important to look at the significance & role of current political crisis how they have chosen the seemingly difficult political journey after the ups & downs.
When the opposition parties brought a no confidence motion against former PM Imran Khan they 1st considered it appropriate to go to the Chaudhrys of Gujarat 1 of government allies in this regard after which a round of meetings began.
The news kept circulating in the media every day that PML Q ie the Chaudhry brothers had started consultations on their future political decision. This process of consultation became longer. Meanwhile Injured Pervez Elahi also raised several questions in a TV interview on Imran Khan's style of politics and slammed him with help of the establishment.
After this interview Injured Pervaiz Elahi suddenly left Islamabad for Lahore but his statement that he has just left the ruling coalition and has not become part of the opposition was also embellished by media.

During this ongoing political maneuvering in the country former president Asif Ali Zardari's strategy worked and a high level delegation of PML N visited the house of Chaudhrys and offered Chaudhry Pervez Elahi the post of Chief Minister of Punjab.
The meeting was discussed in the media & from the reaction of the participants everyone guessed that the matter has-been settled matters have been settled & now Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will be the new Chief Minister of Punjab.

However the next morning Injured Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi reached Bani Gala and thus distanced himself from the then united opposition. njured Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi accepted the offer of Punjab Chief Minister on behalf of former prime Minister Imran Khan. Following the meeting in Bani Gala, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar resigned from his post in favor of the senior PML Q leader.
Did PML N offer Pervez Elahi the post of Chief Minister Punjab?
Neither the PML Q nor Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has spoken about it in the media but former president Asif Ali Zardari was 1st to confirm that Pervez Elahi was offered the chief ministership of Punjab. Gala became his new political destination.
In a recent interview to Geo TV former President Asif Ali Zardari said that Injured Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi offered him sweets at night saying that the PML N had settled matters related to the Chief Ministership but in the morning he reached Bani Gala again. Talking about the reasons for this former president Asif Zardari said Pervez Bhai is older than him. He had his own political decision. Maybe when children grow up problems arise.
Former President Asif Zardari was probably referring to Monis Elahi that he forced Pervez Elahi to change this decision. Monis Elahi didn't respond to a request for. comment.
