Hamza Shahbaz elected new Chief Minister of Punjab with 197 votes boycotting PML Q & PTI
The session of the Punjab Assembly began on Saturday after a day long commotion in which PML N Hamza Shahbaz has been elected as the new Chief Minister of Punjab. In today's commotion Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervez Elahi was also allegedly tortured and Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari was also tortured.

Punjab Assembly has elected Hamza Shahbaz as the new Leader of House. 197 votes were cast in his favor while Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi got no votes.
