Minister Sharjeel Memon assures delegation that there will be no delay in completion of project by Sindh government
Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah has said that problems faced by the Metro Red Line Bus Rapid Transport BRT project will be resolved on priority basis so that work on its corridor can be completed in time.
According to CCR News the Chief Minister was talking to a technical delegation Redlines Bus of Asian Development Bank ADB led by Jia Hyung. Project Officer Mr Omar Ali Shah was present.

Delegation apprised Chief Minister that project was facing some issues like availability of bus depot & transfer of land for installation of biogas plant in Kettle Colony.
Chief Minister said that 32 acres of land had already been allotted 4 plant but its title had to be changed 4 which he had issued necessary instructions.
Talking about the proposed depot CM Murad Ali Shah said that vacancies would be created as soon as work on available depot started.
Red Line Bus karachi : He urged the ADB delegation to assist and co operate in the integration of Metro Green Line Bus Metro Orange Line Bus and Metro Yellow Line Bus with Red Line BRT Bus. The delegation agreed to co operate with the provincial government in this regard.

Earlier Sindh Transport Minister Mr Sharjeel Inam Memon called on a delegation of ADB and Agence France Presse for Development AFD at his office to discuss obstacles to Red Line project.
He assured delegation of full support & cooperation from the provincial government in completing red line Bus infrastructure in 24 months.
At his suggestion the delegation agreed to hold weekly zoom meetings on BRT Bus project to review progress of development work.
SINDH minister assured the delegation that there would be no delay in completion of the project by the SINDH government.
My entire team and contractors will work day and night on this project. It is mission of Sindh government to solve the city transport problems he said.

He told the delegation that he had given the executive authority of Abdul Sattar Edhi BRT Orange Line bus & Sindh Mass Transit Authority till May 30 to complete BRT project.
Sindh minister said that Red Line Bus is a biogas project which the Sindh government wants to make successful so that it can be implemented in Hyderabad & other major cities of the province.
He said that the process of land transfer 4 BRT Depot would be expedited & he would personally review transfer of 32 acres of land for BRT project biogas plant.

Sharjeel Memon said that the process of procurement of buses 4 this project should also be expedited so that buses would be available as soon as infrastructure is completed.
Lloyd Wright told Sharjeel Memon that Red Line bus project is environmentally friendly and very different from other BRT including Metro Green Line Bus Metro Yellow Line and Orange Line.ٔ
