According to lawyer Salar Khan article disqualifies a legislator on the ground of deviation.
He said that if you are a-member of a political party & have been elected to the House then that political party issues instructions regarding the motives for No Confidence vote against PM.
If you either vote-against these instructions or abstain from voting against these instructions you are disqualified under Article 63A.
According to legal experts clause was introduced in (1997 ) to prevent floor crossings or horse trading which the government is now blaming the opposition for.
The party chief can then issue a delay order for the deviation & this is also subject to confirmation of the Election Commission of Pakistan ECP after which member will be disqualified after which-appeal to the Supreme Court. Can be done.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Opposition has moved a NO Confidence motion under Article 95 but the questions revolve around Article 63A.
