RAWALPINDI ISPR : A UN peacekeeping helicopter crashed in the Central African country of Congo killing eight soldiers including six Pakistani army officers.

Congo 6 Officer deid : A statement issued by the Pakistan Armys Public Relations Department said that Puma One helicopter crashed during a peace mission in Congo the cause of which was not immediately clear.
All the soldiers aboard the helicopter were martyred in the accident, including Lieutenant Colonel Asif Ali Awan pilot Major Saad Nomani co pilot Major Faizan Ali Deputy Subedar Samiullah Khan flight engineer Hawaldar Muhammad Ismail crew chief. Hawaldar Jamil Gunner.
