Manama Hijab Woman : An Indian hotel was closed in Bahrain for not allowing a hijab wearing woman to enter the hotel.

Hijab Woman : According to foreign media the Indian manager of a hotel in Adalia area near Manama  capital of Bahrain stopped the veiled woman from entering the hotel. hotel was closed after the video of the incident came to light.

 Hijab Woman: Following the release of video the Bahrain Tourism &  Exhibition Authority has launched an investigation into  matter & asked all tourism agencies to refrain from pursuing policies that violate the country's law. On the other hand  hotel management says that the manager who prevented  hijab wearing woman from entering the hotel has been suspended.

Message states that the manager made a mistake after which he was fired he doesn't represent us.

  Hijab Woman : Restaurant has also announced a free meal on 29 March  as a goodwill gesture in which no 1 will be charged.

According to reports administration has also canceled  managers visa permit.

Bahrains Tourism & Exhibition Authority has launched an investigation into  incident. According to Bahraini law those found guilty of racist acts will be sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Authorities have also warned all tourist The  destinations in country against pursuing policies that contradict state laws.
