Earlier Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

 Usman Buzdars resignation:  Prime Minister Imran Khan accepted  resignation of Usman Bazdar in presence of PML Q leader Pervez Elahi & at the same time decided to give  chief minister ship to PML Q.

In a statement PML- Q chairman Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had said that Pervez Elahi did not go to make a decision he only went to listen to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He further said : that after meeting Pervez Elahi would inform the other allies what ever decision would be taken in consultation with allies.
